    forties feel
    generous portions
    weak water pressure
    age signs
    powdered eggs

The lobby offers a warm, 'forties' feel, complete with an original fireplace and a unique wooden staircase with iron balustrades. The food proved delicious, with generous portions that filled us up nicely after a long day.

The water pressure in the shower was weak, making for a disappointing experience. the breakfast included powdered eggs, which don't exactly scream quality or freshness.

    Cozy stay in Lochgair 🌿

The dinner was lekker, especially the freshly made food. Enjoyed the real cozy vibes by the fireplace while chatting with Pete, the owner. The brekkie hit the spot too, just what I needed before hitting the road!

Room was basic and didn’t have much storage, but at least it was clean and warm.

Chur, we had a good stay! The room could do with a bit of a freshen up, and no wardrobe was a bummer. But the dinner was truly delightful!

We had a lovely stay exploring the area, especially loved the scenic walks along the loch. Our dinner was splendid, with generous portions and a chef willing to accommodate my requests. Those warm, freshly prepared breakfasts were just what we needed.

My kids wished for a small play area outside.

The staff created a warm welcome! Rhiannon greeted us upon arrival with genuine friendliness, setting a positive tone for our stay. Breakfast delivered what was promised, fresh and quick service with a variety of options to choose from. The location eased our travels, making it convenient for our onward journey.
